No animals or children injured

The kids are back to school the kids are back to school the kids are back to school and no animals or children were injured during the making of this summer holiday period. Six weeks?? six bloody weeks eh that’s a very long time to be chief entertainer day and night to two lovely little girls who get most of their happiness driving each other (and me) as mad as is humanly possible. Still it’s done now and back to school they have gone so no doubt the sun will start to shine and the proper summer holidays can get underway. For me it’s time to view the sun through my blinds while I get back into work mode, suppose a couple of new links for my work Twitter account about drug Rehabs is as good a place as any to start. See you on the beach all through September :)

Rainy Thursday (again)

Back on the running a couple of times a week and tonight’s the night for a bit of a distance one (9miles), and of course it is currently pouring down with rain and I am not looking forward to it one bit. Never mind I am sure once we are out it will be as enjoyable as it always is and once showered and home in the warmth with a bit of food in me I will be glad I went. Sometimes just writing this out reminds me how much I actually enjoy getting out for a few miles no matter what the weather is. Have fun xx

Never Again ( NA )

The marathon ( Londond 2012 ) came and went and im pleased to say I managed to finish. The down side is it took me 4.32 to complete with 4.20 of that being actual running and the other 12 minutes getting a bit of a rub down at the side of the road due to cramp. The first thing that comes to mind when in that position of being in pain and knowing there is still slightly over 8 miles to go is NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE, luckily I had also been saying this from the moment I got my place as it was my 5th and I dont think I will want to be doing anymore anyway. Now as 6 days have passed since the finish line I am still of the same thinking, I managed a small run last night which felt good and am pleased to say it now feels like it was already so long ago, no ache's or straines hiding anywhere as uncomfortable reminders of the day and the cramps seems like nothing more than a bad dream.
Time to get back to the important things in life such as celebrating my 52nd birthday today and getting back into a work frame of mind, thats with the drug rehab guide as well as enjoying time with my family and friends as often as I can.
Today sounds like a good day and so far it has been, got presented with a birthday muffin (oooeerrr missus)at breakfast and have had a lovely morning with my beautifull daughter who is unfortunately off school sick (not that bad just a cold)and I still have plenty of the day left to look forward to.
Enjoy your day and the sun (just popped out) and if you are lucky enough to spend any time today with those you care about then maybe let them know, im sure it will be more than appreciated.
Mucho regards my friends Roberto (Muzza)
